Salsa dance for couples

One of the best things you can do once a week is to take a Salsa dance class as a couple. You get to turn off the noise, do something sexy together, and bring laughter and energy into your relationship. There are many wins you get to experience and from teaching for over 8 years, here is what I see most when I teach couples.

Date night

One of the best reasons to have a salsa dance night for couples is to have a date night you can look forward to. Let’s face it, we are always distracted and busy. At some point, most couples stop being partners and become roommates. Salsa dancing to the rescue! It’s been amazing to see couples going from the first class of Salsa Nightclub Level 1 to within 3-4 weeks fall in love again. It takes work to keep things spicy in a relationship, what’s better than Salsa?

Communication

Everyone talks about good communication as the pinnacle of a good relationship, but how can you practice it? Salsa, that’s how. You have one person who is a leader and one person who is a follower. Each person needs to learn to do their part so the couple can work together. It’s a great test of a relationship and a reminder that you can’t have two leaders all the time in the relationship…or two followers for that matter.

Dance into your 90’s

Why is Salsa dance for couples so amazing? Because it’s one of the few things you can do together into your 90s. It’s the one hobby that’s great for your physical health, mental health…romantic health. It’s the one style of dance that you can do together, at any age in any country. Yes, you can go to any country and dance the night away into your late years. Most things that couples do is usually where they experience something but not learn something they can keep doing. This is an amazing fun and exciting activity that is actually practical.
