Whether you know just a little bit or a lot, you’re absolutely welcome to join us on our dance floor!

I work really hard, whether you are a seasoned dancer or an absolute beginner, that you have a place here. So when you come by on Sunday through our Salsalicious social from 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm, or Wednesdays to our Bachata social from 10:00 pm to 12:30 am, you will feel welcomed.

I’m always here so come find me. Ask me to dance or ask our helpers to do that. Helpers are volunteers that we have at the social. That’s how you grow. I’m a strong believer that it’s only when you spend time with people who have more experience, who have more knowledge, that you can grow. You know, the rule of thumb is to be the weakest link in the strongest chain. So, if everyone is really strong, it’s going to help you get better.

Now, for our parties, every Saturday we have Salsa and Bachata parties. We also have our special edition Salsa versus Bachata. But, what makes parties different from socials is we do lessons. So if you feel like,  “I don’t want to go in cold and maybe I don’t know enough moves”, then if you come to our Saturday parties, we always do lessons.

We do Salsa lessons, we do Bachata lessons and they’re open to all. It’s drop-in, it’s 10 bucks and you pick up a few moves before the social start. It’s almost like stretching before working out or before yoga. You loosen up your body and pick up a couple of moves. Then you stay back and you get to dance so you don’t feel so lost.

Ultimately, the biggest growth comes from being in places that you are uncomfortable with. So if you have a little experience here, you’re going to feel welcomed. Definitely, at our school, we work hard to make sure that nobody’s cliquish. So I dance with beginners, I dance with advanced dancers and all of our helpers and all the students.

So don’t you worry, come out and join us! You’re going to feel like you’re accepted, you’re going to feel like you #belong. Everything else we’ll figure out.
