Getting extra practice and just getting your feet on the dance floor makes a big difference!

If you can’t do a makeup we’ll offer you a free social especially if you’re level two or above in Salsa or Bachata. It will be either a free entry to our Sunday Salsa social, Wednesday Bachata social or a Saturday party. If you pick a date, I would suggest picking the Saturday party, because we offer lessons there as drop-ins.

The big picture is, even if you miss one class it’s not a deal-breaker, especially level two and above. It’s not great if you miss classes, definitely, you don’t want to come back to class and feel overwhelmed. Not only is that bad for you, but that’s not a great experience for the other students dancing with you. So the first option is we offer you a free social or party. Definitely take us up on that offer. Come out and dance.

For level one, we have salsa level one DVDs. Sometimes we offer the DVD for free if we can. Normally it costs $15.

The third option is to hire one of the instructors for a private lesson. Now, this is something you have to pay for. A private lesson is a great way to fill in the gaps of things you missed in a group class that your instructor can help you one on one.

Our biggest priority is that you feel like you belong on the dance floor. Part of that means keeping up with the class.

So what are the three things you can do? One is to accept an offer for one of our parties, especially the Saturday parties, where we do drop-in lessons. So still continue to grow. Get your feet on the dance floor.

Two, you hire one of the instructors to help you catch up. And that is a separate payment you have to make.

Three, if you’re level one, we can sometimes make an exception and offer you one of our level one DVDs for free. So you can still keep up with the class.

There is always help because we love you and we want you to feel good on the dance floor. So definitely, even if we’ve run out of options, we’ll still think of an option. Because we love you guys. So make sure not to give up. Email us at [email protected] so we can be creative together.
