What if I Miss A Salsa Class?

Make-Up Classes

We do our best to offer makeup classes (1 per semester) to each student. The most important thing is to email us as soon as possible (ideally before you miss the class) because we have to do a lot of coordination to find a spot on a different night.

Socials

If the makeup class will not work for you – don’t panic. The big picture is, even if you miss one Salsa class it’s not a deal-breaker. It’s not great if you miss classes. You don’t want to come back to class and feel overwhelmed. Not only is that bad for you, but that’s not a great experience for the other students dancing with you. So if you miss a class and a make-up class doesn’t fit into your schedule, we can offer you a free social. Come out and dance. Getting practice is always beneficial.

Private Lessons

Another option is you can do a private lesson with an instructor. Now, this is something you have to pay for. A private lesson is a great way to fill in the gaps of things you missed in a group class so that your instructor can help you one-on-one. Our biggest priority is that you feel like you belong on the dance floor. Part of that means keeping up with the class. So if you miss a Salsa class, a private lesson is another option.
