Bachata Dance Classes Toronto

Where can you take Bachata dance classes in Toronto, lots of places! Whether it’s with our school or other schools, I want to make sure you have a great time.

So here are some tips to help you decide which school is right for you.

Look for a FRIENDLY environment:

I can’t stress enough how stressful dance can be for none dancers when they first take a class. Pick an environment that is friendly, where you can come in and the teachers welcome you with open arms. Often future students call in and say “I have two left feet…can I dance Bachata” and my answer is always “Absolutely YES!”. So I make sure to give my students high fives, hugs, lots of energy in order to help them get out of their heads. At the core of feeling like you BELONG, is open and inclusive energy. By calling a dance school, and looking at their Instagram channel or website, you can tell a lot of them.

Look for a FUN environment:

I find that most students (95%) who join dance are looking to just have fun. The fun doesn’t come from dance moves but from the energy and vibes of the school culture. So read Google reviews of the school you are looking to join and see if it comes up…the word fun. When you are having fun, learning is easier, you don’t feel as pressured and 1 hour of class just flies by.

Look for CONSISTENT classes:

It’s hard to learn anything if you are doing drop-in classes because there is no curriculum. Imagine taking a math class (I had the hardest time with MATH) but you are doing it as drop-in lessons. So you will come in, sometimes it’s chapter 1, then chapter 5, then 2…you will feel overwhelmed. We believe that if you come in consistently for a course (9-week, 6-week, 4-week), you won’t feel overwhelmed. This also give you a chance to get to know your classmates and build a sense of connection to a beautiful Bachata community.

I can’t wait to welcome you to our big family, have you coming in week to week, having fun, connecting with new friends and letting loose to amazing Latin songs. Click here to check our current schedule.
