Find Bachata Classes that are Right for You
Where should you take Bachata classes? There are so many things to consider and so many options. So whether it’s with our school or other schools, I want to ensure you have a great time. Here are some tips to help you find Bachata classes that are right for you.
Look for a FRIENDLY environment
Taking your first dance class can be intimidating. Pick a school with a welcoming and friendly environment. You want a school and instructors who will build your confidence. I give my students high fives, hugs, and positive energy to help them overcome their nervousness. To find Bachata classes that are right for you, do your research! Talk to the instructors and review the school’s Instagram channel or website. If you get good vibes, chances are you have found Bachata classes that are right for you.
Look for a FUN environment
Most students take Bachata classes to put more fun in their life. The fun does not come from dance moves but from the energy and vibes of the school culture. Read the Google reviews of the school and see if the word “fun” comes up. When you are having fun, learning is easier. Find a school that focuses on fun, and you will have found Bachata classes that are right for you.
Look for CONSISTENT classes
It’s hard to learn anything if you are doing drop-in classes because there is no curriculum. Imagine taking a math class (I had the hardest time with MATH) but you are doing it as drop-in lessons. So you will come in, sometimes chapter 1, then chapter 5, then 2…you will feel overwhelmed. If you come in consistently for a course you won’t feel overwhelmed. Consistency also allows you to connect with your classmates and the greater Bachata community.
Ultimately, finding Bachata classes that are right for you means you find a school where you feel comfortable and welcomed. If you are interested in Salsa, then here are some Things to Know Before You Take Salsa Classes.
